I began working with an image of a friend gracefully and expressively dancing with her hands, a gesture that perfectly captured the essence of youth and dance. The human body is one of the most powerful forms of artistic expression, which is why I chose a part of the body to be the centerpiece of this poster. I built the composition around the hands, ensuring they became the focal point.

For this project, I decided to design a custom typeface inspired by the flowing, curved lines that beautifully symbolize dance. I created a circular grid to ensure all the letters shared the same style and proportions. This allowed me to develop a bespoke alphabet specifically for the poster, including numbers to display the year of the event.

The colors were carefully selected to align with the theme, using vibrant and energetic tones that reflect the passion and enthusiasm young artists bring to their craft.
